Serena Williams

As we commemorate the opening ceremony of the 30th Olympics in London, United Kingdom,we decided to throw some light on the achievements of one of the star performers of the olympics that year,Serena Williams.

Serena Williams has played legendary tennis. It is quite possible that no woman has ever played at this level in the history of the sport. She has been racking up unreal ace totals, overwhelming very talented and accomplished opponents like Maria Sharapova of Russia.

Williams holds the most Grand Slam titles in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles combined among active players. Her 39 Grand Slam titles put her joint-third on the all-time list and second in the Open Era: 23 in singles, 14 in women's doubles, and two in mixed doubles. She is the most recent female player to have held all four Grand Slam singles titles simultaneously (2002–03 and 2014–15) and the third player to achieve this twice.

Williams has won a record 13 Grand Slam singles titles on hard courts. Williams holds the Open Era record for most titles won at the Australian Open (7) and shares the Open Era record for most titles won at the US Open with Chris Evert (6). She also holds the record for the most women's singles matches won at majors with 351 matches.

Her tremendous momentum from Wimbledon continued when she blew through the competition not losing a set in Olympic tournament play.
She can do whatever she wants. Whenever she wants. She extended her star status when she teamed up with her sister Venus to win doubles gold sweeping the women’s tennis events without losing a set in either competition.
She is only the second tennis player in history to complete the Golden Slam (Grand Slam sweep and Olympic Gold Medal)!

Chew it Properly! But why?

Your mom always tells you to chew your food properly before swallowing it.
Have you ever wondered why?
The simple act of chewing food in your mouth helps to break down larger particles of food into smaller particles. This helps to reduce stress on the esophagus and thereby helps the stomach metabolize your food.

When food is chewed thoroughly, you also release a lot of saliva, which contains digestive enzymes. As you release these enzymes into the throat and stomach, it helps to improve the digestive process. ... Too much liquid in the stomach will slow down digestion.

You should concentrate on the meals while eating. Soft fruits and vegetables will break down more easily than chicken or steak, so you will need to make sure you chew your food as thoroughly as possible. According to the experts at Ohio State University, you should chew softer foods 5-10 times, and more dense foods (meats/vegetables) up to 30 times before swallowing.

With rising concerns about climate change and the hazards of atmospheric pollution, clean energy has become a hot topic for research all over the world. Scientists, engineers, and even politicians have all realized(or will soon..) that developing infrastructure to exploit renewable energy is imperative. However, there are still widespread misinformation about renewable energy some of which I hope to clear up in this article.

1) “Renewable energy is extremely expensive”
Renewable energy sources like wind energy are some of the cheapest forms of energy that can be generated. However, the research behind the development of renewable energy installations can be extremely expensive but that is the case for any new area of science.

2) “Wind farms harm birds and other wildlife.”
Once true, wind turbines have had many improvements in design and placements to ensure that the wildlife in the area of installation aren’t secret affected.

3) “Solar power plants can’t generate electricity during the night”
Solar cells do indeed sunlight to produce energy. However, electric grid connections with net metering and solar battery storage make it possible for electricity to be generated while the solar panels are dormant.

4) “Renewable energy sources cannot meet the modern energy needs.”
Researchers around the world have shown that renewable energy sources can meet 100% of the modern day energy needs at their current growth rate.

Trees, trees and trees
Because of you we get water and cool breeze
So many other things, we get from you
From bright red cherries to wild berries which are blue
All the different things you give us
We make something out of them like a car and a bus
Even if you are young or old, but you, yourself
Save us from the thunderball
From apples to cherries and red scarlet berries
And all the other things you gave but still,
We didn’t make you so safe
Oh, my friends,
We will never leave you to an end
Trees, trees, trees
Do not leave us because
You are home to some animals and lot of honey bees
With our last tear, we fear
But we promise and we swear, we will protect you anyhow, anytime and anywhere
Trees, trees, trees,
Because of you we get water and cool breeze.
