Happy Halloween! !

Halloween or the Eve of All Saints’ Day, is celebrated on 31st October every year. Pope Gregory III, designated November 1 as All Saints’ Day in the Eighth Century to honor all saints and martyrs, which has now taken the form of the tricks and treats of Halloween.

Do you often get Goose Bumps?

It happens with a lot of us that when we are cold or frightened, we get goose bumps. Actually there is a little muscle attached to every single hair on our body. When we feel cold or afraid, as a reflex action, each tiny hair muscle contracts, or shrinks, and pulls the hair straight up.

Why does the nose run?

We have a thin layer of watery, slimy stuff called mucus on the inside of our nose. This mucus plays an important role of trapping the dirt and germs that are in the air we breathe.
